What helped me the most with my hobonichi was switching to the plain notebooks they sell. I realized I am a horrible planner but I love hobonichi paper and covers. So I write in my own dates and use it whenever I feel like without the pressure of daily journaling lol I’m an artist so I only use it to doodle or practice typography

Pilates has healed my tendinitis/ wrist pain / shoulder issues. Lots of arm straight planks with a puffed rounded back strengthens not only the wrist but the entire arm/shoulder.

I have a travelers notebook and I love it! Sketching in an insert is so nice, because of how small they are it makes me feel accomplished when they're complete. If you like Abbey Sy I highly recommend Job's Journal.

I also recommend getting frequent massages on your hands and arms for your tendinitis. I have a desk job and I type all day and massages do help.

OBSESSED with onigiri pouch! I use those little pouches to store my airpods its soooo convenient! I feel you on the tendonitis!!! Makes me feel like such a granny hahaha. Something that has really helped me is topical arthritis gel - idk if you've tried before but i recommend :)

that mouse is really cute in pink! I've been having wrist pain whilst editing using just an ordinary mouse, but the logitech ones are pretty expensive, would you say it's worth it?? or have you tried any cheaper ones that are good? 🥰

ugh yeah the mouse was pricy but I do think it's worth it for me at least. I was looking at some cheaper options but I was afraid of buying something cheaper and then not liking it, returning it, then getting this one. There are a couple cheaper ones on the market though, I was watching some "ergonomic mouse" videos on youtube that go over them!! I recommend watching some of those bc there are tech reviewers that go through all those options :)

Great video as always! I have the Sketchboard Pro 2, and I absolutely love it. I use my big ipad for a lot of things, but I basically can't draw on it without the Sketchboard now. (Maybe that's a bad thing???)

I use an Ipad Pro!! the smaller one haha, not sure which year but I think it has the M2 chip. I'd recommend the pro or the air, both are great for using procreate!

There's a bit in the video where you're moving a slider in your art program and adjusting the colors of your calendar. What's that called and what's the purpose/function? Sorry, I don't know the terminology to ask the question very well.

So I’m adjusting the curves of spot colors! I wish I could explain it to you but tbh… I don’t know why it’s necessary hahaha, I just do it because that’s the file prep process for my printer. All I’m doing is dragging that slider over to make the colors more saturated… and that’s the limit of my understanding hahaha

I do love using my sketchboard 🥹 it has improved my posture especially helping with my neck pain. But I do get how big it is, it can be annoying when you have a small space 😢
