I love those chocolate covered fruit treat things 😆 I got to watch your video while I sat in the car for a moment before I do some kid-free errands 😊🩷 We also had a spirit week about two weeks ago for Read Across America, sad your kiddos missed pajama day but their crazy hair was adorable! 😊 Hope the kiddos have a fun break! Ours is in a couple weeks!

Happy March break to the kids, I hope the weather shapes up to be a bit better so you can get some fun stuff in. Thanks for sharing the weather photos with us, I always enjoy them. We are going to be having a week of 70 degree temps coming soon, I guess Spring is officially here, my daffodils have bloomed and are already dying back. I get to have my daughter and granddaughter here this weekend, while my son in law goes off for a weekend of desert hiking for his brothers bachelor party. We are looking forward to the time with the girls, and cooking a corned beef and cabbage dinner for St. Patrick's Day. Have a great week Lindsay.

Awww I’m sorry they had to miss pajama day. Winter break here is at Christmas time. March is spring break. My son has the last week of March off. I hope the kiddos have a great March/winter break. Great lunches :)

The weather was Spring-like here but on the weeken we started with heavy rain 🌧 but ended with snow ❄️ and quite windy. You always have great lunches for your kids 😊 I buy those items also. Anything snack size is a must have. Lunches don't have too many variables here but I try to make them not too biring. We're really liking the buttermilk buttered chicken breast pieces from Superstore. 10$/ 1 kg bag here in Ontario. I went to Costco last Friday to restock on individually wrapped snack items. Leftover lasagna and homemade pea soup with cupcakes are the lunch highlights for this week. I picked up some V-8 cans for something different. Have a great week 😊

It's been rainy here too, but cold! I agree, anything snack sized is a must have! I've never seen the buttermilk chicken pieces, are they in the frozen section with the other $10 bags? I'll have to have a look for them next time I'm in there, they sound delicious. Your lunches sound great. I'm not sure mine would like v8, Jacob might, but I don't think the others would. I wish we had a Costco here, but the closest is Halifax, so about 4-5 hours from us. A friend of ours goes from time to time and would pick up anything we ask, but I don't like to ask for too much. It's another rainy day here, our snow taking a beating! Have a great week! 😀

Hi 😊 yes it's in the frozen section with the other $10 bags. The bag had an orange color to it. They're better than Janes and it's real chicken breast. I was impressed by the quality, taste, and price. Eveyone loves them. That's too bad that there's no Costco close by. Mine is about 1 hour away, I live in the country. 😊 Take care.

Thanks, Kerry. We have a few fun things planned. We're heading to the dollarstore today, the kids have gift cards from Christmas, so they are excited about doing that. And you're right, winter does like to hang around the Maritimes! I'm sure we'll still get another storm or two. Are you guys on March break this week? I know it differs province to province. I’m not positive but I think here in the us it’s called spring break. Ours is in 2 weeks.

As a few others have said, we call it Spring Break. Winter Break would be another name for Christmas Break. Do your kids have to make up the bad-weather days later in the year?

Hey Alison, we have Christmas break and March break. As far as I know, the kids don't have to make up the missed days. They go to school right to the end of June most years anyway. I hope your week is off to a great start. 😊
