This week on the network, Sir Peter Hendy is still employed after getting a senior engineer fired for voicing safety concerns. I would respond to questions but they keep on disappearing... Take a quick Google for Gareth Dennis.

0:57 is the gent in the middle p-way staff? If he isn't then i apologize but if he is, why is he carrying what looks like a track gauge on his shoulder under (or near OHLE) ? I 've always been told nothing above shoulder height under or near OHLE.

I think you will find it equipment to do test before touch on OLE as he should be 9 ft away from any OH then there isn’t a problem plus the equipment is insulated

@@jamesstar8163 you said it yourself should be. To me, an infrastructure maintenance worker who regularly works under live OHLE, and has over 30 years experience on the railway I've always been told under live OHLE carry nothing above shoulder height

Nice to see the new Ashley Down railway station now officially opened. Perhaps you should bring back the Henbury branch line and to reopen the Portishead line as part of MetroWest scheme.

Why not continue on with the electrification including Cardiff Central-Swansea and Didcot Parkway-Oxford.
