thank you for sharing. one question though - i was under the impression that UA leadership discourages referring to killed wounded by the code numbers as to not dehumanize the losses of their own. was that just a little bit of a ppgd, or is this medic just not practicing the general guidance?

You can't force a person who faces death every day to follow someone else's instructions on how to speak. And in my opinion, this guidance is appropriate for civilian media, and not appropriate for the military, who actually deal with death on a routine basis. At some point, they need to keep a distance from reality, and the codes do that. In fact, most civilians living in Ukraine already need this distance too. Imagine - every single day when I look at my FB feed, I see a message about the death of someone - my friend, or my friend's child, or my friend's friend, or someone who just knew someone else... And this situation has been going on for years. Of course in official situation we use regular words. But in privat conversation it’s almost always code. Even to speak about something good, like 4.5.0.
