I still need to watch Heretic. Thank you for this breakdown, James! I hope you have a good week. Also, I have had two movie-going experiences ruined by senior citizens. Lol! In both experiences, a pair of seniors sat right behind me and would not shut up. Packed house in both cases, so I just groaned and did my best to pay attention to the film.

“I’m getting grim, I’m getting bleak, I hope everyone has An amazing week!” Now my man is spitting bars. Nice!

You are absolutely qualified to review the Paul v Tyson circus, James. 😂 Looking forward to it!

Thank you James as always. I watched Anora and Conclave last night and a showing of Conclave was pretty much sold out so I had to choose another time. Anora is fantastic. 2024 has been such a great year for horror.

Always enjoy your videos. A suggestion, when posting text/web text, please consider doing a black background with white text for TV watchers. It's so much easier on the eyes! I look forward to more of your videos.

Similar to Joker, Venom has their own built-in audience. While the numbers haven’t been gangbusters V3 will make back its costs inevitably.

It already has. it is sitting at around 400 million with a budget of 120. Are we to believe they spent 200+ mill to market this? C'mon.

I like Christmas but completely agree about people celebrating before Thanksgiving. LoL. Keep it up good sir! Looking forward to The Penguin review.

Really enjoyed Heretic. The first two-thirds were masterful, and the final act held ground despite the weight the first two-thirds built up. Three captivating performances that all commanded some relentless and demanding close-ups. Wicked Old Hugh Grant is a delightful mindfu€k.

Very happy with Heretic. Hugh Grant was mesmerizing, reminded me of Michael Parks in Red State.

Could the older/elderly audiences save the movie theatre? The young which everyone has courted with choice of style and stories told with young people on screen, when the young are now happy on their phones/streaming/alternate entertainment to the point it's their entertainment focus. The older/elderly were brought up on the theatre experience, traditional story telling/1 1/2 hour - 2hr run time...they also have more expendable cash than the young. Does Hollywood now have to pivot in their focus and temp them back with low-mid budget adult focused films in bigger numbers?

I went to see Red One last Sunday and let’s be honest, it just doesn’t feel like a Christmas movie. It’s Santa Clause: The Movie (the 1985 movie, not the Tim Allen Disney classic) meets Jingle All The Way mixed together. But I bet The Rock showed up in time instead of being tardy filming the movie. Yeah, Red One is not a good movie.

I am definitely not in the mood for those bland upcoming MCU movies. I don’t feel like watching them.

The ending of The Heretic is ridiculous. That’s the problem.
