"weekend, first weekend!" | Improvisations

Hello! This video is the first in a series of improvisations I (Nikki Pet) have made with my friend, the fabulous dancer Neta Singer, throughout quarantine, starting April 2020. While we have been physically located on the opposite sides of the country and the world throughout the pandemic, we thought it would be fun to stay connected through these improvisations, each based on short snippets of writing that we trade together.
Due to our physical separation, we made this video by layering and improvising off of each other's videos. For this one, our process chain was:
Neta (writing) ➡️ Nikki (clarinet) ➡️ Neta (dance)
