I was on exchange in Tokyo and I lived in Ikebukuro, my exchange got cut short because of the pandemic so I had to suddenly come back home. Hearing the Ikebukuro station announcement again made me teary, also I am so salty the sanrio cafe opened after I left!! I'm really glad I still get to see parts of Japan through your videos though, thank you Sharla

Hanging out with friends, going to the mall, visiting cafes... this is a dream :( (And it's in Tokyo of all places so it's a dream DREAM) At least I can see Sharla having a good time, whilst I'm locked for eternity. Corona became something "political" here in my country, so I can see that I'm going to stay locked until 2021. Please continue to create quality content like this, it's a relief for us, that are still suffering with quarantine. Your happy mood brightens up my day

I was in japan exactly a year ago! all the hydrangeas were so beautiful, especially in Kamakura. apparently the colours are brighter in the rain :')

I'd love to visit Tokyo again. My husband and I lived in Okinawa for 4 years (air force sent him there) and we visited Tokyo 3 times. We even climbed Fuji (it was an amazing experience but never again!). If you get the chance, I HIGHLY recommend visiting Okinawa. You can get cheap flights from the mainland and there's plenty of hotels there. The humidity can be brutal this time of year though.
