I remember playing the original arcade machine with my dad back in the day during our visits to the local department store (which had a sizeable arcade row at the time), so it brought me great delight in '95 to see that a sequel was made and was at the local bowling alley.

Edit- Actually it was Rolling Thunder I played not Elevator Action. Breakfast burrito requires egg to be breakfast, yes. If you only have beans and cheese. Well thats not breakfast unless youre poor. All taco trucks use eggs for the base ingredient before adding the other stuff. Elevator Action was in my local dollar theater so I played that, Superman, and Alien Syndrome while waiting for movie to start in the mid 80s. I ended up having every Sega system besides 32x and CDX thabks to my dads yearly tax refund.

😂 love that intro. I've never really thought about it in depth before but you're right! I would totally assume eggs in a breakfast burrito. I was also a full blown PlayStation fanboy back then. Got my PS1 at Funcoland refurbed when I saw Resident Evil on the display console at the store. I eventually got a Saturn specifically to import the SF vs. X-Men fighting games. I hated how the limited RAM in the PS1 stupid not allow for the character swapping. Still have my Saturn and those import games to this day. Keep up the great work! Your memories of things like Toys R Us and renting games takes me right back to my childhood.

First, you are 💯 correct in that breakfast burritos should absolutely have eggs in them. Secondly, another great video for an awesome game series. Checkout Elevator Action for the Gameboy and/or Elevator Action EX for the GBC sometime as it is a bit of a blend of this game and the original. As always take care and keep up the great and amazing videos.

A Saturn Import game I foolishly passed over getting back in the day, always been a pricey title, I now play it on the PS2 Taito Legends compilation you mentioned😅. I do like the curved effect your using on the game video to match the crt, very nice touch. Cool share 🕹️👏

Breakfast burritos need eggs, it definitely makes breakfast more filling that way. Unless people have allergies and etc where they can't have eggs. I was surprised when i clicked on this video, and this question popped up lol. Awesome weekend rental video as always, CGQ! Looking forward to your next one.

Being a California native myself, I have never been served a breakfast burrito without eggs. That taco truck won't last long in CA if they are pulling that nonsense. Anyway that was a great intro 👍🌯

In Austin, TX, The Otto at Tacodeli is a fantastic burrito. It has refried black beans, double bacon, avocado, and jack cheese - no eggs. It is on Tacodeli's Breakfast Tacos menu. Although I love it, it is NOT a breakfast burrito BECAUSE it does NOT have eggs. They have a few other "breakfast burritos" that do NOT have eggs as well. There should be a warning on the menu.

Shooting the lights out causes your score to increase more when enemies are killed while the lights are out. In short, no lights, killed enemies give up more points. I got a copy of this over a decade ago on a late night starting Ebay auction that had a buy it now option, the cost, $25. That is something I have never seen happen with this game on Ebay ever again. I also have Taito Legends 2 PS2, which this game is on (the first one has the original EA), and the Japanese Taito Memories compilations, all 4 of them, which has the original, and Returns.

First off, if the menu says breakfast burrito instead of breakfast taco…you’re in the wrong place. One of my go to breakfast tacos includes steak, mashed potatoes and cheese…no eggs. I know this isn’t traditional but it’s my spin on a comfort food breakfast taco.

My perfect breakfast burrito is eggs, beans, cheese, and salsa fresca/Pico de gallo., and then some salsa Verde hot sauce to put on each bite. Potatoes are great, but can be iffy depending on how they're cooked. No hard taters for me.. Gotta be soft and crispy.

Elevator Action Returns is amazing on Saturn! Is there a good ending to the game though? I remember never being able to stop the coutdown, and the rocket always launching. Is there a good ending and how do you get it?

Holy sht this is a cool pixel game. I only had a couple Saturn games(Mainly Night Warriors, Guardian Heroes, Dragonforce, Albert Odyssey). Never bothered with 3d polygon games during that time honestly. However I had to buy Panzer Dragoon Saga and traded it in after I beat it for Street Fighter Vs Xmen. Ended up selling all the games except Night Warriors, Guardian Heroes, Virtua Cop and Virtua Fighter 2
