I had a NASCAR / Hendricks jacket in 1997 from the NASCAR store in a local mall, and it was $125 then. While this is a race fan filled area, no one wore them unless at the races. So I rarely wore it due to the picking at it ensued. I was 15 at the time and kids are nitpicky about trends on their own, add in rivalries over drivers….sheesh. I had it up until a decade ago when I sold it. Had no clue they’d be popular at some point, I was so ahead of the trend. 😂
