He smiled and took it in to his satisfaction, though humbly, and he simply said 'thank you' a couple of times. It was a pleasure to meet him. It was on the set of SNL on a break during rehearsal. No thankfully. This was halfway through his run with Nealon's update. He did 8 times with him, this was #4. He did it only once with Norm. He also did it as a opening skit once and returned it in 2019 when he hosted. Good # of times he did it :)

This just proves how good SNL was back then. When they wrote this and thought it out, it probably sounded really stupid, but when it all came together it was absolutely brilliant. I remember when i was in middle school impersonating Operaman for my dad and stepmom at dinner and making up my own little songs on the spot about stuff that I saw in the news or stuff that happened at school.
