My tree's like that too. It's so annoying but it looks really good lol when I get a new one though, I'm definitely going with a pre-lit, less assembly time type tree

I would highly recommend a new tree that’s easier to assemble. I’m from New York & found mine in Walmart for less than $100 & so good quality. Also, Amazon has good ones too not too expensive. Anyways loved the finished look!
