I love you guys so much. This quarantine has been so lonely and sad for me... My kiddos lost their dad, I had to miss out on my twin sister's birth of my first nephew, we lost my hubby's step dad, I lost a cousin, and I very tragically lost my lifelong best friend. I know it has been hard for most. But watching these videos, seeing your smiles, and hearing your laughter makes me feel so much less alone and so much happier. You are such a beautiful person who is so full of love and I'm grateful to have found your channel. Thank you for everything. Can't wait to see all of the autumn and winter content to come. The recipe looked great . You could still ripe up all the chicken but 1 and mix it with the juices , and add mushrooms but keep them on one side of the crock pot ! It would be great !

You should make a trip to Highlands NC- it’s my hometown and it is beautiful! Full of great shops and has maintained that small town feel- we don’t even have fast food places! It’s not far from Asheville. I miss it!

I am not from the south though...I am from Cincinnati, Ohio the most southern city you can get to...literally 10 mins from Kentucky...and my dad's family is from the south...so I'm counting it 😆....my husband detests onions but when a recipe calls for em I dice em super fine or grate em...sometimes I leave it whole and pull it out just get the flavor but no onion pieces for him...

Oh, you missed the best little mountain town on your trip. We live in Waynesville, N.C. it is a small tourist town in the mountains. Such a beautiful setting with lots of small shops downtown. Lake Junaluska Methodist Assembly is here also. It is a beautiful man-made lake. You have to come back!! Enjoyed your video!!

Happy belated anniversary! I just found your channel! I’m in Alabama and my anniversary is in a couple weeks. Thought about going to NC and bringing the camper but I’m so worried about catching covid... again. 3 out of 4 of us had it in April and it was terrible. My healthy husband wound up in ICU and almost didn’t make it. But he did! Which makes us that much more thankful to have this anniversary coming up!! But I’m so scared to go anywhere much for fear of going through all that again. The numbers here in Alabama are pretty bad even with a mask ordinance. How are the numbers there in NC?

I love sweet potatoes any way you cook them, but frying them in Butter, with salt and pepper to taste, and 2 or 3 table spoons of sugar. Give me that with cornbread and that's one of my favorite meals.

I love love balsamic chicken. I usually do not eat anything with canned/cooked tomatoes...except for this. I am of Italian decent, and yes this is Italian. Try serving diced chickenover capellini angelhair pasta. I am at a lost for a side dish, I try to remember what sides accompany the protien in the frozen dinner varieties. This works well with newer recipes in which I am not accustomed with or spicier foods. I just look up Mari Calendars or Cafe Steamers on google
