My wife and I adopted Latte at the South LA Dog Shelter a while back. We fell in love with this dog ever since we saw him in his cage, eager to play with a pigeon that was outside. He was a stray, but his estimated birthday is the same day as our anniversary. The adoption fee was also exactly what we had in our pockets that day. It just seemed like we were destined to be together.
We took our doggy out to a few parks this past week because they have begun to reopen after the lockdowns. We made sure to be safe, maintaining social distance and wearing masks if there were any people around. Our doggy has heterochromia in his left eye, making him even more unique. He's a handful sometimes, but he has brought so much joy into our lives and we wouldn't trade it for anything.
