Thanks for sharing. Finally!! ... Someone who has the same mind set that I do. I am determined to use what I have. I decluttered last month so that I could rearrange things and make a 10x12 room work as both a guest room and my craft room. I purged old wood stamps, ribbon, and fibers that I no long want to work with. I sorted my papers and took all my paper pads apart and sorted them into color families. Now I am absolutely determined not to buy any paper until I have significantly worked my way through what I have. Again, I was so glad to hear someone else say this! I have watched so many craft room tour videos and everyone seems to just keep making space for new products. Also, my husband insisted on buying a Murphy bed for the room, and for that I am so grateful. He even made me a Murphy counter-height table (24" x 48") that pulls down from another wall so that I have extra work space. When the grand kids are here visiting, we iust fold it up and pull the bed down. Again, thanks for sharing your space and ideas.

Love THIS! I did something similar in Sept and donated 2 huge boxes to a nursing home - determined to start afresh and not fall in the same trap of buying more than I can use. My monthly craft budget is now going on building up my marker collection instead as paper takes up so much space and lurks there making me feel guilty! Sounds like you have a handy husband who understands your crafting needs!

Thoroughly enjoyed exploring your craft room 💕 thank you so much for sharing! I’m in the middle of setting up my sewing room after hubby and I did a complete renovation of the room and repainted it and laid new floor coverings. I now working on setting up the former built in robe to a multi functional workspace including my cricut maker. Heading off now to watch videos 2 and 3 😆

So exciting! I remember planning for so long and watching so many videos for inspiration too. My room is quite small so I have to admit I keep all my fabric in tubs under the bed to help keep it less cluttered :)

@@WeekendCraftaholic It is exciting 😆 We moved into our home 5yrs ago and have been doing lots of major renovations including replacing the kitchen, floor and roof and more and still more to go. I think because I had been quite busy with my sewing business and I ordered 2 new industrial machines my hubby finally gave and hence I’m finally getting the room I had been planning for about 2yrs (in my dreams). It’s really starting to come together and my new machines will be here next week. They’re coming on a pallet. My sewing room is quite small too. It’s 3m x 3m. I do have another room that I use as my cutting, prep, and storage room for my fabrics and vinyls, and leather. I’ve been sharing some progress photos and video updates on my FB page and when it’s all finished I’ll share another video here on YT too. My last videos here are quite a while ago now and everything has changed so much. I’ve had been one of your subscribers for quite some time now and enjoy your videos. OH by the way I watched the other 2 videos and loved them too. Your sewing room was fab and we have quite a few of the same things.

@@ChrisLucasDesigns Wow, that's a lot of renovation work! We did the same with a previous house then moved out haha. Sounds like your room will be great with the prep/planning you've had, you must be so talented if its your business! I'd love to be able to do that rather than work in an office. Thank you for you kind words, made my day

They were a from a local craft store in Joondalup, Perth. They are really sturdy and I can fit about 9/10 from memory in one kallax cube.
