Just a suggestion from a big motorcycle camper. We break our eggs into a ziplock bag and add spices at home. Actually adds more room in the cooler for other things...and eggs are gonna be broken anyway.😎

Great video and a cool adventure. Glad you didn't roll the truck. You made excellent points about not trashing the woods and not destroying property by shooting things folks shouldn't shoot. I hope everyone listens to you on those. Respect for the environment and other people's property should be ingrained in everyone, but unfortunately some people lack a bit of sense. Scott

Great video M & A! Would love another weekenderlander where you go and do some shooting around the camp area.... i love seeing the gear you use on these kind of weekends and how easy it is to get setup. As our lives have gotten busier, myself and my fiancé are now ‘weekender’ converts so i love comparing and checking out your setup while also just enjoying your relaxed ‘vlog’ style. As far as tips go this is super simple but easy: just pack two floor mats. One for outside the tent and one for inside to put your shoes on. Keeps your tent so dirt and debris free. And it’s cheap and light to pack.

Hey, Mike, you might not be a fan of the GoPro dashcam mount, but I for one like to see some driving scenery of where other Overlanders / Weekenderlanders get to. Hey! Have you ever seen Ronny Dahl on KZbin? He does rig rundowns of offroad/overlanding vehicles in Australia. The electrical systems in those trucks are amazing. They engineer stuff to last for days by combining multiple batteries, solar panels and basically a self sufficient electric grid. It looks like your needs are going to grow. I think it'll be interesting to see what you come up with to battle the elements up there. Great video, as always. Looking forward to more.

I know this comment is a little old but if you havent found anything yet take a look at gaia gps app. Most offroad/overlanders are going to that as it uses your phone/tablet internal gps and has a trail overlay. Brad on the trailrecon channel has a great video on it.

Instead of an alligator clip to usb. You could always cut and strip the ends off the alligator clip. Then use a butt connector to connect to an open wire usb. They make weather proof butt connectors. Then you have a single wired usb powered light.
