We are doing trunk or treat for the little kids at my grandson's school. We have candy, but also bracelets, pencils, stickers and things for kids whose parents don't want so much sugar. I'd just as soon skip this day. Fun for kids I suppose. I wonder how much candy gets dumped after it's over, either by the givers or receiver's parents? It's too bad that when companies get bought, they add in all of the things we didn't want.

I have not in 5 years had enough candy ! Two Costco bags do NOT surffice!!!! I have had to close up early the last two years !!! I am buying more this year ! We are keto here so Halloween candy is NOT welcome !!! 😂❤Glenda
