Yeah it's a pretty interesting brand. Not a lot of castings but pretty good detail. The rally version of that Celica is special. The road version is nice too but not as cool to me. I also have a Volvo 850 waiting for a future video. I have the racing version and there's also a street version as well.

Yeah I'm familiar with that model but don't have it, I do have a Peako Toyota MR2 waiting in the wings for a future video. I've heard very good things about that one too.

Yeah there's a ton of cool Aussie diecast that is stupidly expensive to get outside of Australia. I'm very thankful that Chris @ CRA Diecast sent me that one.

Another great haul Video. I have that Green Bentley on order, can't wait, now that I have seen it. Those 2 Mini GT Vettes look pretty awesome as well. With those 2 Silver Porsche's, the new one looks a bit bigger/wider that the other one. It may be an illusion on camera, but definately looks different.

The Mini GT Porsches are the same size. Only difference I see is still the exhausts and the wheels and there's a barely noticeable difference in the color. Kind of a strange release to me.

Still quite enamored with that Majorette Volvo V90, loving the Celica GT-Four & Evo 1 as well. The underhood details of that 250 GTO are out of this world! Regarding the X6, Maisto did one a couple years back as well, not sure if it's worth mention though... Regarding the Porsches, seems one is a base model & one is an S model, hence the different wheels/exhaust. Great showcase once again, thanks for sharing 👍

I collect only race prototypes and GT sports cars. These are my thoughts in regards to the major players. In 1/64 : Mini GT( 10-15.00) great overall however, have had a few with missing mirrors and paint errors. Sparky (15-25.00) Better than Mini GT with greater variety of cars but, have had mirror problems as well. Tarmac Works Hobby only (25-35.00): Best of the bunch. Great and creative packaging ie. base and crates Great detail with antennas and tow hooks of which you will never find on Mini GT or Sparky. Note that Tarmac works hobby do not roll. Ranking in 1/43 resin models: Resin cars are fairly expensive although I have picked up IXO's for as little as 20-25.00 (about the same price as a 1/64 Tarmac Works). IX0 (20-50.00) Great detail much like Tarmac Works maybe the best value in 1/43. Spark, TSM, Fujimi and Looksmart are among the best affordable models in 1/43 not hand built. Some Spark models are limited runs and among the most affordable and come on wood bases. TSM/ Fujimi are high models are excellent but, expensive around 100.00. Looksmart are the best of the three and if you love Ferrari's you will not be able to get enough of these ( I can't) However, they are expensive at 125-200.00 and rarely discounted.

Also man if I’m a Diecast company a super premium in my opinion should be full detail on the interior lens headlights all opening parts, As well as the Ability to roll as good as a hotwheel. It’s frustrating seeing all these models not roll man if I spend 80 it must roll, and I know that asking a lot but if it was a 100 dollars and rolled I’d buy it IMO

Great video. What brand is the best for 1:64 that include realism like brake caliper and interior? Most of mini gt dont roll as one of the tyres stuck to the body because either the wheels position is not balance or the steel(axle)that hold the wheels bend

I've yet to get a Mini GT that doesn't roll. I personally really like Inno64 for excellent detail at a not too bad price but they are not always rollers.

The rolling issues and the loose or parts falling off, are what keeps me from getting some of the expensive imports. Now M2 is not an expensive import, however I've had both of those issues with M2. I have a VW M👀n Eyes where the bumper was cracked. I have another Auto Zone truck that had a bumper fall off. I've even had some Hot Wheels cars come in with a base that's crooked and it pinched the wheels. Doesn't roll. Now that was a $1.49 casting. The M2 was $5.99, but the the Mini GT I just bought, maybe it's a different brand, I'll have to check, it doesn't roll ar all and it was $15.00-$20.00. It is a bad a** car though. It's a Bruce Lee licensed car. It's the color of his workout gear. Yellow with black stripes. It's really a nice car. I'll have to check on the specifics of it. But it looks amazing but it rolls like a flat 🥞pancake🥞and for the price I paid it should have been a great roller. That's also why if and when I do buy a import it's 99% of the time going to be a Tomica Limited Vintage. They may be $20.00-$100.00+ but they are incredible quality!

If I had to import Greenlight or M2 I would probably stop collecting them as their quality is definitely very problematic but for me Mini GT has always had very good quality and no issue rolling. I'm not familiar with the release you mention though. Unfortunately TLV has their issues at times too as shown in the recent Lamborghini Countach release. That one was really disappointing to see as I was really looking forward to that release.

Hi, we would lik e you to do a video showing us how you order these beautiful models. I mean Hotwheels and Matcbox are all over the place (in Canada). but these, i can only find them on ebay. which is pretty inconvenient. thanks

Wish I had some great secret to share on that but I mainly just buy them from ebay too. I did just do a big order direct from Tokyo Station Canada but anything I get direct from China I just use ebay. I have considered trying out HobbyDigi or speed70 direct from Hong Kong but the main benefit of that would be getting stuff before it lands in the US rather than any kind of cost savings.

If no info is available on the bottom of the car, take a picture before opening it, save it in your PC drive, show us the model and then throw away the blister.

Hmm, yeah that could help but still pretty inconvenient to find things when you have thousands of cars unless you build a searchable system. Since I'm paying premium prices for the models I'd just like the diecast brands to do it for me so I can be lazy. :-)

Mini GT is the best brand right now for me in terms of quality and price..I do collect Greenlights too but I've stopped buying it for almost 3 years now because of their quality issues..it so disappointing because they have a great numbers of good castings but they sucks in quality.

Yeah Greenlight quality is a constant complaint and doesn't ever seem to improve which is very frustrating. Mini GT though, definitely a winner almost every time.
