i'm enjoying this.. i've been "rescuing' bagged lots as of lately, and I just got my first Majorette i'd ever owned mixed in with a lot of Maisto/Hot wheels So I decided to hit up the video comparisons between the various brands to see if i might start going aftter _all_ the various brands

But hot wheels dose them for track racing that why they make everything more thick so it’s don’t break easily I have different brands and I appreciate all of them but I think when people compare Hotwheels to other collecting brands they missing out that Hotwheels is made to go on track racing and not for collecting that why they made them they way they are so kids don’t break them right away 😅 but other brands can do more accurate and don’t worry if it’s fragile bc they not meant to go on track and be tossed around by kids haha

I collect certain castings for M2 Econoline van and truck, A100 van, 57 wagons and nomads I have seen many quality issues with M2 over the years but I like those castings so I tend to not buy them online so I can do a quality check first. M2 has started to show up at Target lately but I fear that they will buy too many of one release and not sell them all. the problem with big box stores. thanks for sharing your knowledge

Great video with a lot of thoughtful knowledge. I really appreciate M2 Machines for the details. One has to recognize and understand that M2s are models, not toys. Have you ever heard of the tabletop skirmish game, Gaslands? I build Gaslands cars and sell them on Etsy. The final product for me is so much greater when I use a model from M2, AutoWorld, Greenlight, and Johnny Lightning. HW and MB are fine for some of my builds, but M2 can't be beat for details. Just look that those stock wheels on your 1970 Ford Torino Coca Cola car that you held up. Those wheels are magnificent. For my projects, they are perfect.

I just got the 1985 Dodge Caravan because I like 1:64 vehicles that look like real world vehicles. Not the made up cars or cars with crazy paint jobs like Matchbox and Hot Wheels.

Very informative video and well made! I personally like either rolling or not, but ever since I got INNO64 I began to pay attention a lot to more to details and accurate design of the car from the decals to calipers behind the rim of the wheels, and I have prefer that more than it being to be able to roll smoothly because most of the time I display them or take them out and admiring them up close than make them roll around. But that doesn't mean I stopped getting rolling ones like MiniGT

I started collecting hot wheels and matchbox cars going on 9 years ago I looked for realistic looking cars or maybe some cool looking cars I discovered this m2 brand a few months ago and even tho they are alittle more pricey they fit more of what I was looking for now I catch myself looking at the m2 selection before any other selection

"Late To The Game" but still enjoyed the Review ! For me, my initial thoughts about M2 were just like yours, and sadly that opinion has NOT gotten any better 😔. It seems that that M2 is "just missing " from what could become really good. Just like everything else, 1/64 diecast has become expensive, so the quality & cardboard art combined has to really catch my eye to "compell" me to make the purchase. They have had some really cool cardboard art ideas, but somehow still manage to look a little on the "cheap" side. I still rank Auto World a little better, by a "whisker" over M2. If some is truly a fan of Quality Control & Cardboard Art, the best I've ever seen was the mid'90's brand of Johnny Lightning were they were under Playing Mantis. Thanks again for the Great Review ! 😊

It is such a bummer. I'm getting old now and lost interest in Matchbox and now so popular Hot Wheels. So, when doing my little facing midlife 1/64 collection, it is my rule for the model to have full metal body, like Mini GT. Otherwise it is resin and 1/43 in a box.

As a M2 enthusiast I love the brand so much I have now over 460+ I guess since I counted them and I also not only have a ton of 1/64 but I also buy the 1/24 scale cars as of today 42 of them and yesterday I just got 9 more on Mercari I will never buy from Amazon they seem to wreck anything that is a collector car. So far I been lucky on finding 1/64 chases but I been more lucky so far in getting 1/24 scale Chases, so mainly with my M2 collection on 10% of my cars and trucks are open with all my hauler with car sets are sealed and all my 1/24 scale cars are sealed also. With the cars I opened they are still clean and mint but I do buy doubles for the drag racing cars and trucks. Happy Collecting 😎

Funny enough that people would complain about the cars having logos on them, but that's what attracted me to the brand. Six months ago, I started collecting them mainly cause of their unique look and didn't even realize till recently that alot of the ones I found are either 750 or 250 chase cars along with a hand full of 7k peaces. Either way, I'm mainly a big fan of old-school muscle cars and enjoy collecting as they are. I also like keeping them in their original packaging so I guess I'll truly never know what all the issues are that they have....
