NO WORDS... Just so beautiful! My Daughter Roxanne really wants me to move to her property and build her a garden. She bought this property almost two years ago and has been renovating it. It's on a river bed consequently the ground is sand. I love plants but I'm not a gardener like you. Thank You for all the inspiration you give. Continued Blessings!

I love going on the weekly garden walk with you! I have walked through your garden rooms in past videos, but I still had such a feeling of anticipation as we walked through the gate to the Main Flower Walk. The gentle curve drew me around the corner, and I eagerly watched for the new alfresco fountain. It looks like it has settled in nicely, as if it has always been there. And then the garden library came into view. This was such a brilliant addition to your property. I have watched your videos prior to the library being there, and the area looked like it was saying, “Here. Put the library right here.” You listened well! 😊 Thanks, Danielle!❤

So peaceful. We’re not on a corner lot, pretty rural, but the only non-wooded part of our property in a 20 ft strip between the front of the house and the street, so my garden feels very exposed. I love how you’ve got these private little nooks nestled here and there, very inspiring. Also love how the Mt Everest alliums and irises look amongst the hydrangea foliage, I may have to steal that idea.

Danielle, your garden is breathtaking! I love these weekly garden walks because things change so quickly, especially this time of year. I hope to have a garden as lovely as yours one day. I’ve been overhauling old beds and created a new one last fall with the intention of planting it all up this spring. Then life happened. My garden is disappointing at the moment so your garden walks are filling me these day! Have a great weekend!!!

I love your repetition throughout your garden this year. I struggle to do that because there's so many things I want to try, but I feel so much more at peace when I control myself and stay within a certain boundary. That iris in the hydrangea garden is fabulous. I don't really like iris, but I may need that one

It's so interesting to see my favorite Northern gardener's garden right now, because the things that are blooming right now in your garden have already come and gone here in my Southern garden. Right now in my garden the hollyhocks, Shasta daisies, bachelors buttons, purple salvia, snapdragons, bupleurum, and roses are at their peak. Right behind them are hydrangeas, coneflowers, lilies, sunflowers, zinnias, ageratum, etc. What a wonderful display of beauty our gardens provide. I love your statue and stone path idea!

This was my rug hooking guild day so missed starting my Saturday with your serene garden walk until afternoon. I love the separate areas with the intention to colour group. We have a very small front yard and through separate areas have used both leafy plants mixed with flowers to have more vibrant combinations directly in front of the property and across the driveway. More greens and pastels are under the olive tree. We have a moving water feature in a central area and still birdbaths in two other front locations. A waterfall and four birdbaths are in the downstairs gardens. Sorry, I am rambling…best to you and your family, Danielle.

What a lovely way to start my day! Whenever I see iris and foxglove I so wish I could paint with water colors. Your driveway garden is so peaceful and beautiful. I too am using a lot of blue/purple and shades of pink in my garden this year. I bought two gems but they are Tempo Rose, a dusty rose color. They are beautiful. Thank you so much for the inspiration and information. Enjoy your day.

Good morning! In regards to the dark bearded iris, I have a Titan’s Glory that bloomed mid April for me. I’m in zone 8b (now). It is a deep rich purple and the bloom was easily 6 inches as a first time bloomer. So pretty. Google it and see if it’s dark enough for your needs. 👍🏻

Hey Danielle! I have been so looking forward to each week's garden walk/talk. I'm a beginner gardener in zone 7A and have loved seeing some of the native plants you have in your garden and your use of perennials! I am also on a corner lot, curious how have the hummingbird trellises and no-dig fence been holding up for you?

Good Morning! The gardens are looking so peaceful and beautiful! I like the sculpture subject. I grow a lot of different colored irises. I like "Silken Trim" from Schreiner's. It's dark purple, but not the darkest. Mine is blooming now. I have another one... don't know its name because it was a "surprise" when I dug up a daylily that belonged to my mom. I call it the "Ravens Iris", so not sure you would want that anyway ...🤣🤣🤣
@karenholt97446 ай бұрын
Oh, if you are interested, I'm thinning my irises this August/September and would love to stop by your flower stand and leave you a a gift of one or both in gratitude for all the gifts you've given all of us through your videos.. I'm your neighbor in north central Maryland. P.S. You could call the "Ravens iris" whatever you wish- I'm not a football fan anyway. 😂

Ah! I absolutely love these weekly garden walks! So beautiful! Two dark purple irises I'm currently growing are "Black Lipstick" and "Before the Storm" sadly, neither one has bloomed yet, just put on lot of leaves. Maybe this is the year I'll finally get to see them in action.

Good morning Danielle! & Hello from Michigan. Love your May garden so pretty but may I suggest purchasing a beautiful Rhododendron flowering shrub!! If you don't have one already.
