Love the vlogs! Really thinking about moving to Jamaica myself. I have until March to decide and I am pretty sure I know the answer. Came across your channel while researching...can you tell me though, how is it for the children? School, culture, life? I ask because I'm a Mom, of 11 year old boys.

I went to school down there, my neices and nephews currently attend. It's an experience I think they will not forget and they teach really well in Jamaica. Once I went back to school in Canada I was ahead of everyone in my class because the curriculum they were teaching in Canada at the age I was at, I had already done in Jamaica. But, please dont move there unless you've been to jamaica numerous times!

I hope you don't mind me jumping in on this comment but I moved to Jamaica over a year ago with my 12 year old son, he was 11 at the time and my now 8 year old daughter and it is the best decision I have ever made for them. I was born and raised in the UK, so never lived anywhere other than England. I am so happy I did it, my children are so happy, school is great and the teachers are brilliant. My experience so far has exceeded my expectations. I watched Annesha and a few other youtubers before I moved to JA and it really helped.

Trust is important I've been told and somewhat hard to find there. The decision is a very hard one to make..I'm sharing your video on IG to get more opinions for family and friends. Thanks!

Schools here are much better in comparison to UK as children get taught about their own culture, history and gain a sense of identity. Some Schools have limited face to face due to Covid but in January they're all opening up so hopefully this will be consistent.

Yes JPS did put out a notice days before in regards to the electricity outage, they were doing a maintenance. I am in south Manchester and was out of light from 9am to 4:30pm..

Are you going to hire someone to help you with the cleaning? Also, Jamaica has a reputation for having healthy food sources on the island, but in recent years we have ventured off of our ancestor's way of eating. (green banana, ground foods, liver, senna leaf, moringa, lots of fruits, etc). Can you interview the people around your generation and see whether they have any knowledge of the Jamaican diet about 40 years ago. What are they eating now? We rarely ate junk foods or processed foods back then. Fruits were our snacks.

Hey What's on your sheet it's not mold it's dust that has been built up because you weren't there to keep the place clean and dust free I am living here in Jamaica and I thought that I had mold on my purses clothing but I found out it just dust buildup and the smell that you have in the house is because it's been closed for so long and haven't been open the air out and circulate fresh air throughout the place
