Thanks for doing the autopsy on the blown engine. Going beyond Loctite I think redoing how the airbox bolts work so this can't happen would be more reassuring. For the want of a nail, the battle was lost, as they say. Expensive! Can you use the B18 steel engine mounts on the B20?

I'm pretty sure the 140 alloy mounts are different offset to the Amazon steel engine mounts

Can you please clarify what you mean by a qualified car requiring a MOT? I certainly don't have one on my 1967 Amazon and the insurance certainly never raised the issue.

If the car is modified, as almost all rally cars are, then they must have an MoT to be road legal.
