I know exactly what you mean about low self esteem and working hard. I have taken that approach to life for the last 25 years (working in academia). Then I got Long Covid two years ago and had to change my whole mindset because all of a sudden I was no longer able to do the one thing I based all my value as a person on. It's hard but it is also kind of a blessing in disguise because working that hard all the time wasn't sustainable and was making me miserable. Not sure if this is helpful at all, just wanted to let you know you're not alone! ❤

Helen, I wanted to give you some advice on running a half marathon since I, too, skipped days/weeks of my plan and fell off a few times. Just pick back up where you left off after giving yourself time to rest! I found sometimes when I took a week off because I was burnt out or hurting, I had a really great long run the next time I did it. I know you didn’t ask but as a super slow runner who finally finished one this month, I thought I’d tell you it is okay to miss a day or two here and there ☺️❤️ You will do it in due time, you know your body best!

I'm doing my first half marathon in Feb never having done more than 6 miles distance since high school. I'm not fast, but I love running! It's all in the training! I've been doing Jeff Galloway's run/walk method, and it's been so fun and satisfying! I know it's hard to accept walking as a runner, but just have to remember that distance and injury prevention is the goal rather than speed! Wishing you all the best! 🥰

Such a pretty page! I would have bought that washi tape if I had seen it too. I have a weakness for tapes that are streetscapes with houses or trees or bookshelves 😂 I'm moving too. All of my things from my old apartment were cleaned last week and moved to my new place. I won't actually move in for a week but they say set up your kitchen first. Hi Helen ! If I ordered for Black Friday and order again lets say one week after. Do the second order get packed with the first or it is really following numerical order ? Also, one is tracked and the other is not, I don’t know if it is possible to have them together to counter the strike ? Thank you for your time and sorry for all those questions. they're more likely to respond to their customer email rather than a comment on one of their youtube videos! But to go by experience, they have a disclaimer during big sales like Black Friday that they cannot combine orders like they usually can due to the large volume of orders. They're shipped in numerical order unless your order has a preorder item, in which case it will all be shipped when the preorder items come in ~3 months. If one is tracked and the other is not, they will ship as is, no combination orders. You might be able to upgrade the untracked order to make it tracked and pay the difference. But again, it'll be better to get a response through their official line of communication rather than here.
