Freedom! It's on everybody's lips! But when we demand our freedom what exactly are we demanding to be free to do? To run with the pack? To follow the crowd? To be attached to an electronic device that tells us 24/7 who to follow and how to behave? None of that is freedom. "For the children of Israel are servants to Me; they are My servants, whom I took out of the land of Egypt. I am HaShem, your G-d." (Lev. 25:55) Only by serving HaShem do we liberate ourselves from all other forms of slavery.
