Rach, I lost my dad 4 months ago and have been feeling all of these feelings. It’s such a difficult thing to go through and I’ve been praying for God to send me someone who understands, so this video couldn’t have shown up in my feed at a better time. Thank you so much for sharing 🤍

I also lost my dad a few years ago and the realisation that he will miss out on so many milestones in mine and my brother's lives hurts everyday. Nothing can make up for it. This really hit home for me xx. You have a such beautiful and supportive family and friend group and your wedding. Your dad was with you in spirit, no doubt xx

in a way i dread my wedding for the exact reason! i’m actually a waitress at a function centre where we cater for mostly weddings and almost every wedding i watch the father daughter dance and think about how lucky they are for their dads to be at their wedding. it hurts but i hope that by my wedding i will be able to accept that. much love rach 💗

Thank you for that clip of you pouring out your emotions. I lost my dad last year and because were in a different country we couldn't attend the funeral or the memorial due to lockdown restrictions and that made it way more painful. When we finally got to travel and see the grave, reality hit and I couldn't control myself. It's hard cause there are things I want to share with him, about my career, academics and all those fun details about life. I'm 21 and probably getting married in a few years, and knowing that he wont be there for it, is what hurts the most. I wont have my father to give me away, or to even see my husband. So yeah, I totally felt that...😔

This is literally my favourite wedding series I've ever watched on youtube! Over the last 6 months I have been watching a few channels, but yours is BY FAR the most practical, relatable and in all honesty, stunning! I love how much of this you did yourself and I hope you milk as much content as you can out of it!! On top of that, you have appeared to stay so positive considering the circumstances you've been faced with! Such an inspiration!

I just felt right off the bat that you have such a kind, patient, and down-to-earth soul. And then your clips about your Dad began and I just broke down crying with you instantly. I am so, so sorry you had to go through this. I don't know you at all but my heart just broke for you in that moment and I know it could not have been easy for you to share. I hope your day was perfect and beautiful and everything you wanted it to be. And I know he was there to share it with you. I can't wait to watch the rest of your content. Sending hugs from the U.S.

Grief isn’t linear, there are always good days and bad days and it’s 100% okay to feel sad and mourn a loved one. Going through milestones and important dates (Father’s Day Eg) just really suck without them there. My dad unfortunately isn’t a part of my life and hasn’t been since I was 8 and just this past Father’s Day I broke down completely, I saw all of these amazing dads and I felt so angry and upset that I didn’t get to have that. Seeing you cry completely broke my heart and I am so sorry to hear about your loss :( By adding that part in, it does show the reality that women sadly go through before marriage. Every single day and on your wedding day especially your dad was with you by your side in spirit and he would be so proud of the woman you have become as you were the most beautiful bride. I know we don't know each other personally but I am here if you need someone to talk too x PS: I love all of your wedding planning videos as I am slowly starting to plan my wedding x
