I can relate to your segment about that kind of “bitterness” when what you are sacrificing for doesn’t go as planned. Almost a week ago , my baby transitioned on ( fur baby). She was absolutely fine about 4 months ago , healthy and fine. I quit my job in April of this year , decided to stray away from certain things that I felt like were in the way and not of God. I cleaned up everything , wiped down I stopped engaging in gluttony , etc. So when my baby’s health started to decline me not having anything as I wasn’t working I tried to get her whole - this is a whole nother long lengthy story but to make it short she was going through diabetes then developed pyometra later on she had pancreatitis, then galllbladder mucocele, high liver enzymes and then she had some tumors that they weren’t sure were cancerous. The paths were getting cleared for me through God she was able to get the spaying surgery , insulin ( though wayy later than she needed it ) , ER visit meds etc. In my mind this was a testament to she is gonna be okay God wouldn’t allow all of these yes’s to end on a no with her quality of life . Come to it never really settled in my mind she wouldn’t be here. Come to last week , the rescue I was with informed me they wouldn’t be able to fund her surgery , now with her having a mucocele she was at risk for rupture. As soon as she came home with me her breathing was rapid and hard , she wasn’t really resting just laying she already had developed cataracts from diabetes and I could just see her spirit seemed to be tired. It broke my heart , still does I’m so lost . In this I have been in my mind I can’t believe it and I’m just like why God the literal one thing I couldn’t imagine , occurred. So I relate , I also relate to the enemy trying to twist and construe . I’m heartbroken by God , but I won’t allow that to make me turn from him though it is hard. I just can’t even understand the reasoning behind I’ve truly had her for so long and we were so so close , it’s humbling to know you can truly try so hard and still be subjected .

I was fired during my maternity leave. Ive been fast8ng not just for a job but a long term position where I can grow. Ive fasted during interviews and the waiting period. During that time God provided and opened doors. The days i fasted felt so fulfilling. Its an emptying out of self. Im still in the storm but Im not the same person when it first started. 10/10 recommend 😅

Hey hun, as a follower of Christ Jesus who lives a life for Christ, I am in constant communication with The Lord. I believe the more you are in communication with him, the easier it becomes to recognize his voice. Also, reading your word daily also helps to recognize his voice. There are times when thoughts pop into my head and after some time, I’ve been able to learn when it’s God, the enemy, or my own voice. If the thought aligns with God’s character and the Word, it’s from God. That’s how I know when God is calling me to fast, especially when the thought won’t leave me until I commit. I pray this helps, ultimately ask The Holy Spirit, being the Spirit of Truth, He will direct you the right way to go. Matthew 6:14-15speaks about fasting for reference. I mentioned verse 14 because forgiveness is IMPORTANT for God to move even more abundantly in your life! God bless you in Jesus name ❤️
