It seems like we have been extra busy lately so it was nice to have a full week at home here in Meru. I vlogged bits of our week and hope you enjoy spending some time with us!
We did some outdoor cooking, gave an update of our new farm property, went to town and took the kids swimming.

ITS CALLED A CHIMINEA we use them for our Hispanic heritage for cooking and to make fire. I jave a real big one also made out of clay by hand its awsome . i wish youtube wohld allow us to share pics in our comments so i can show you my chiminea

The 'thing' you got from Nanyuki is meant for a controlled outdoor fire. Get two more, arrange them strategically in a semi-circle facing an outdoor sitting area and, light them up. Then get some wine and enjoy...

One of the first things we purchased when we moved to Nairobi 4 years ago was a chiminea and we love it- it puts out an amazing amount of heat

This type of chimney fire pit is called a chimenea, popularly used for warmth in Ethiopian restaurants...i ordered one from Emily’s Mountain View cottage and it was delivered to me in Nairobi.
