You’d be surprised how they adjust to being in their room alone. My daughter is the same age as Sutton and we changed her crib to the toddler bed a while back and if we lay her down she either takes a nap or goes and reads books or plays with her toys. I think maybe the first couple of times you have to mentally prep her by just telling her, hey you’re going to either nap or you can have quiet time. But yes! Toddler proof everything. And just make sure your camera has an overview of the whole room which might mean moving it up high so you can see everything. That’s what we did and it works to keep an eye on her the whole time.
