In 2014 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and one of the first things my oncologist to,d me was “ don’t listen to others who have gone through it. Open pergolas look lovely but are not practical. If you put a cover over the top (lots of options) you can have shade in the warmer months and be protected from rain in winter. Just a thought. We covered ours in Australia and we get so much more use of it now. ❤️

did the outdoor couch come with a cover? If not i think that would be quite good to cover the cushions so you don't need to go back and forth taking them on and off, would make it a lot easier, Or maybe even get a little storage box for outside for them

I reccomend wearing pads aswell as the adult nappies (so treat the adult nappies as knickers) saves you going through so many as they arnt the cheapest but also saves ruining so many pairs of knickers. Also highly reccomend using 'spritz for bits' on ya bits and then smother the pads in sudocrem!

Mind you he was quite happy and content to stay in my tummy as he was 15 days overdue and I had to be induced. My sister in law was told my nephew was around 5lb 7 on her last appointments but when he arrived he was over 6lb 6, same with my auntie she was told my cousin was 7lb and he was 10lb so don’t be stressed about the weight they have told you because it’s often quite inaccurate x

Loving the outdoor area I'd look into possibly getting an electric awning that opens over the top of the pergola. You can get ones that operate both with remote control or that switch so they automatically open when it's too sunny. Good for a little extra shade esp with a little one and also a little extra protection from random summer showers :)

I hope you get to read this before your wee one arrives! I had my twins the days before were transverse. The day I went hosp to be induced. They were breech. The next morning they were head down and ready! So not impossible! So anything is possible! Go to see your resting as needed! So excited for you both!
