Madison congrats on all the changes. I was very critical of you leaving teaching when you did. I thought you didn’t give it enough chance. You have the heart and light in your eyes to teach our youngest and most impressionable. I am proud of you on your return and the joys you are expressing. Please look back on these videos next and every-time it gets tough. You are special.

Have you ever been a teacher? It’s an extremely stressful job. Try not to be critical or judgmental. “Teacher” is actually top 10 most stressful jobs. I once saw it number 3 on the list. Next to military for #1 and firefighter for #2.

@@emilystory1487 there are 3 people I respect more than others. Dental professionals, imagine working in people’s mouths for 30 yrs day after day. People that cook for a living. It is hard and thankless and teachers. They are the most important people in society. Madison’s experiences weren’t unique to most teachers. It takes time to get comfortable and establish your style. I didn’t think she gave herself that opportunity. She has comeback with a passion and a fresh start. I am very happy for her. Teaching as a career will have many ups and downs. Madison is gifted and I am wishing her students and Madison the best. I think she will be enlightening children for many years. Btw teaching isn’t that stressful unless the classroom isn’t safe. You have to put the students first at all costs. Adult or child ed. the rest is easy.

We don’t get a fall break but we are off the whole week of Thanksgiving. I suppose that could be considered our fall break.

We do not have a fall break. Our first break will be the day before Thanksgiving.

We do leaf rubbings (one with foil and the other one with crayon and they compare and contrast the difference). We also get coffee filters in the shape of leaves on Amazon on they use food color and water to create their masterpiece.
