Hey Holly, If you have to do Data Analysis you might want to look into Origin. It's intuitive and easy to learn and quite powerful. As a physics and engineering master student I use it a lot and can recommend it :)

I feel your pain with the data analysis. My thesis is currently a lot of data analysis on a huge dataset and I'm doing it with r/rstudio. (Although my supervisor has begun mentioning survival analysis using Fortran 😭) but I just wanted to share some handy resources! In rstudio on the website they have these 'primers' to help you learn different aspects. I'm finding them super helpful and then there's tons of cheat sheets on there too. Data lab also has a good intro video and there's a bunch of edx courses too. Hope that's helpful if you do end up going down the data analysis route, it's not as scary as it seems I promise!

My favourite study vlog because you say what we are all thinking. I had the same thing happen last semester, our professor told us to do something one way and then I was marked down in the comments the marker made. I guess the trick is to not dwell on it ... Big congratulations on hitting 400K!

You could look up STATA, I think it’s waaaay easier than R and there is a STATA manual aviable online and many many KZbin videos 😊

R is free to use though (via RStudio, Jupyter etc) and Stata requires a license. Although I have to agree with you on the user-friendliness of Stata!

As an astronomy student, I can totally relate to your experience with R. I remember the first time I was introduced to it. I left nervous scratches on my hands and was unable to answer any theoretical question at all. Such a shame 😒 However, later on, I fell in love with R and used it to analyze data from physics labs, ignoring Python and Origin that were recommended 😅

Be a bit careful with spirulina. It has an inactive type of B12 or something and actually drain B12 from you.. I don't remember how it works, cause it's not my field, but I think it competes with actual B12 or something. You probably find the info if you Google :)! Just a tip from one vegan to another.
