About the egg...you should hold it in your hand and squeeze it on the top and the bottom, the egg doesn’t break because you are adding pressure to the ends which are the strongest parts of the egg...the manner in which you held is what was wrong 😁

I had a sore lower back from deadlifting and couldn’t tell if it was the muscles or my joints! Tried to ignore it and hope it went away but it kept coming back 🤣 Saw a physio and it turned out that my glutes were too tight (you’d be surprised - most injuries arent from the area that’s sore but more so the muscle around them). After a few sessions & foam rolling them each night for 10/15 mins I haven’t had pain since. Hope this helps x x x

This was the same as me, and I have lower back pain, and I saw a Myotherapist he helped relieve some tension with dry needling, but it’s because everything was tight, glutes, quads and hamstrings, even if you see a physio and get some stretches, and work on your mobility and foam rolling

I’m in physical therapy school in the USA. But I would go to a physiotherapist for your back injury. They can do the same joint assessment and manipulations as a chiropractor but they can also assess all your muscles and teach you ways to improve the problem so it goes away where a chiropractor won’t be able to help if it’s a muscle. But PT’s can help with both muscles and joints!!

I have lower back pain too and its so bad when i dead lift etc mine turned out to b buldging discs which only a scan can tell you and physio and chiro actually messed it up more because there was a issue def check with a doc 1st thats theres not something actually wrong. I ended up having to go to a neurosurgeon(back doc) because it was so bad and by doing things like physio i actually compressed the nerves to the point i nearly needed surgery and it can actually stop ur bowels and bladder from working once you mess it up

Me and my best friend didn't talk for 5 years. We were both stubborn and annoyed with each other for really silly reasons. We decided to meet up and hang out after adding each other back on facebook and crying over messages. We instantly picked up where we left off and it was as if nothing has changed. I'm now Godmother to her son and its great!

Working in radiology ,many patients from as young as 20 come in with back injuries from the gym etc. Would defs recommend getting an MRI or CT of the L/spine to see whats happening inside, to decide wether it is bone or muscular (very important) and go about it in the right way to avoid long term or issues later down the track. :)

I cut the flavour label off of the protein powder bags when I’m putting them in jars/containers so that you can see which flavour is in which container, the the myprotein are a cute blue colour normally so it looks nice too ☺️

take care of your back! i hurt my back doing deadlifts a year ago, it ended up being a 6-month journey of physio and in some positions i can still feel a bit of pain in my lower back.

Hiii first of all, love your content 💕 I just wanted to point out that you may need to watch out for the quality/taste of your protein if you store it in the glass jars because generally it’s stored in those dark containers to protect it from light and light induced damage! Just to give you a heads up 🙊

i used to compete in powerlifting competitions and my last year i hurt my back doing deadlifts too. i suggest a good chiropractor and a deep tissue massage! i’m obsessed with the chiropractor now and i only do deadlifts once ever blue moon now because they’re really not that beneficial really especially with the risks that come with them.

Hey Conagh, I work in a orthopedic clinic. You’d be safer seeing a orthopedic doctor first before going to a chiropractor. Especially to make sure it isn’t nerves 😬 safest option otherwise you may want to check with the physiotherapist cause they won’t push you too hard where you would injure yourself more

Hey girl! Definitely recommend physio for lower back. I’m studying physio and we can assess everything to do with the joint and the muscles and can provide education, so manual techniques to help and exercises to address any contributing factors to your pain! Highly recommend physio!

Go to a physio first, and work on lifting a lighter weight to build up form and strength. This will help when you eventually try a pb again. Coming from experience as a pt

I’d recommend going to a physio first even if it turns out to be joint they’ll be able to relax the supporting muscles to take the pressure off the joints and good ones can normally tell if you should try combined therapies (ie go to a chiro or myotherapist). Make sure you look after yourself! 💕💪

I’m currently having the exact same issue and symptoms with my back! And also injured it the same way, I just saw a chiro and they said my SI joint/glutes/QL need some work, but after my first visit the other day I woke up pain free for the first time in a month

Ahh I love a long vlog 😁, also I am currently experiencing lower back pain and its due to my hip flexors and hamstrings being too tight because I barely ever stretch (stupid I know). I mean, mine hurts doing deadlifts too so yours could just be from that, however, maybe see if it is your hamstrings so it can be resolved through stretching!!!

Hey Con! For the back pain, see your GP if you want a referral to physio (Medicare/free) or if you have private health or don't mind paying you can book directly with a physio. A qualified, registered physiotherapist is your best first stop :) and avoiding dead lifts like you said! --aussie health care worker

I have similar lower back issues and they’re always worse in the mornings! I’d say go to the chiro, do some back stretching and strengthening exercises like dead bugs (obviously core too) and just be kind to your back, maybe check your pillow and mattress too. I’m slept in a different bed for a night and realised how much worse my bed made me feel
