I loved the chat with baby girl in the car, made me realize my son is missing out on my native language. I'm Swati and he's plain refusing to learn the language. His father is Zulu mara umjita is 100% English speaking and he's 4. I don't know what to do anymore. I speak Swati all the time, not helping, he understands but won't reply. He started daycare at age 1. How do you do it ladies?

Eish it's a tough one hey. I think because my Khwezi is exposed to my family as well - and they speak Zulu/Xhosa so she gets to also speak it there. And I love that Khwezi can also speak TshiVenda. But don't rush him mommy, he will learn. Keep doing what you are doing
