Hi there, I'm a new subscriber here. Wow, such interesting history & a really interesting story. I sure hope many more people out there will show more interest in this topic. I've heard about it prior & I have watched other stories, but this is really wonderful too. I always knew of the Irish & African-American community there. At the time, they did get along quite well, for the most part & some even fell in love, married & had children together. A truly interesting & wonderful story, albeit tinged with much sadness & disappointment, when things turned totally sour for these innocent people, specifically for the African-American population there. I must add, it's so funny when many try to lie about true history & try to cover up or even whitewash this true history. The US Govt did just this many times over, so too many state govt's. I love the walk & thank you for sharing. Cheers & peace.

This story also strongly showcases, the underlying pervasive systemic racism, that has always existed within many US states & to this day, still exists in various ways, albeit not as overtly or as widespread.
