Yes all the interval acts so far have been Swedish, BUT they have been immensely popular with the Eurovision fans & are truly regarded as some of the best ones. The productions they've put on raised the game & the crowd wouldn't stop chanting Petra Mede's name when she came back to host the show in 2016.

Sweden make the best Eurovision intervall acts. Van't wait for absolutely epic interval act called "Love, love, peace peace" by Petra Mede and Mans Zelmerlow.
@Bandido89412 күн бұрын
That's bull! The best intervall acts comes from the other hosts! Like iconic 1994. Riverdance (Ireland) and 2007 Apocalyptica (Finland) to mention a few best one. (Young) people even doesn't member, maybe cause Sweden hosted many times recently? Fans are almost brainwashed to believing this dillusion, because they making good pop/Eurovision. But that doesn't mean they are also best making everything! ☝
@RodulfoJesúsGoqueCruz4 күн бұрын
Not totally agree on that, but I understand that people get bias a lot when It comes to Sweden in Eurovision. There had been a lot of better Eurovision Interval acts within the whole history of the Contest and one in particular will become later a full stage show that is being touring the world since 1995. If we are going to name the Best Interval acts, only 2 of this list will remain.

@shovkovskyi12 күн бұрын
It's not the list itself people are complaining about, but that it's labelled as "the best interval acts EVER"... trust me, if there was a vote in Eurovision community about the best interval acts ever, this would not be how the top 5 would look like... if this list was labelled as "the best nordic interval acts", you would not see any complaints... labelling is important...
@Asa...S12 күн бұрын
@@shovkovskyi If it's the best interval acts EVER, according to the person who made it, then that's what it is. Just like any other of these top 5-videos. It's someone's list, that they react to. It's not "the best interval acts EVER, voted by the Eurovision community". Why not just make a list of the interval acts that _you_ think are the best ever, and send it to them?
@shovkovskyi12 күн бұрын
@@Asa...S you can't label something the best ever, if it's just your opinion... you have to state that it's the best in your opinion (aka your personal favourites)... like I said, labelling is important... similar thing happened with the "grunge" week recently, where some people commented that those songs weren't exactly grunge... they weren't complaining about the songs in the list, but about the wrong labelling... Personally I have nothing against Elina or this list, but I would've liked a correct labelling, which would remove any complaints... P.S. I can't make such list even if I wanted to, because that would include 2 of the acts from this list, which they would have reacted to before...

Sweden wins Eurovision so often that they have put on a lot of intervals. I've been to Stockholm a number of times and, as an American, I find this interval act to be very funny. And very true, based on my observations. A country has to be pretty secure in its identity to poke fun at itself in front of a vast international audience. I haven't found the Swedes to be particularly warm but they are smart, quite willing to help if you need help and speak excellent English. And, like many others, I have a very fond appreciation of Petra Mede.

So the meatballs with the "hint of horse" is a poke on a scandal that was raging in Sweden at that time. The organization that is somewhat similar to your FDA has tested several meatball brands, and had discovered that there were traces of horse meat in them. There was outrage galore. Also, other Nordic countries made their own checks. And I don't remember which country it was, but they checked some kind of meat pie, and said that it would have been nice if they were able to discover traces of horse - they couldn't measure any trace of meat of any kind in that pie.

This is not the best one. But Petra Mede is the best host Eurovision has ever had. She seem so relaxed on stage and her persona is a smug women who thinks she is THE BEST. In interviews she has said that she often thinks the world surrounds her, but she knows that isn't true but that is what her comedy is generally about. these eurovision shows (that Sweden have hosted due to a lot of winnings the past 12 years)however is not written by her but for her.
