Hey Weemusark! So, here's my story (in short): One day I noticed a lot of videos I watched had highly upvoted comments by a guy named Justin Y. and I clicked on his name. It led me to other comments of his on other videos. This way I discovered 'The End of an Era' by u m a m i and I quickly became a fan of his work (and especially his series 'Interface' a little later). A few weeks ago I discovered his channel page about other creators he likes and I stumbled upon pilotredsun. I instantly loved his animations and soon also found out about the album he uploaded on his channel. I listened to that album sooo much and I was kind of addicted to it really.. Anyways, I also found out about your covers of the album (very very great job by the way!) and then I looked on your video page and also saw THIS particular video. I loved the melody, so I checked out the original ratboygenius video (and song) and I love it so much! So yeah.. I've been grinding the last few days. I watched every single video on his channel and I just watched the last one and I felt I should write this to you. Yeah, I'm discovering so much great stuff lately and it's all somehow connected! Anyways, great piano cover, thanks! Keep it up!

From measure 73 (1:58 in this video), is it intentional that the melody notes for 'fac' and 'I can' are respectively one semitone and two semitones higher than in the original?

wow, you're very observant; I would've never noticed that had you not pointed it out! I probably thought the C natural at "fac" was a mistake with the text-to-speech, especially because of the F#m chord. I then didn't notice the descending pattern and thus "can" being a B. The "I" immediately before also sounds garbled with the TTS, making it even more unclear. How did you notice it?

@@Weemusark I just noticed that I made some mistakes in my original comment (I'll edit it so as to not potentially confuse people). I actually transcribed it correctly, but then wrote down some things incorrectly. >.< But you got what I meant! I started playing your arrangement again the day before yesterday, and decided to listen to the original video while reading the sheet music, yesterday; then I noticed it. It makes sense in the context of the piece, I think, as it used a lot of chromatic descents. That's one of the things that I love about it. :) I see I've only got the PDF of the sheet music, and MuseScore's PDF conversion service didn't work for it, so I guess I can't change it for myself if I'd like to. I assume the accompaniment might need some changes too? I am not nearly as skilled or knowledgeable in music as you probably are, although I'm currently studying it. :D In any case I'll keep playing this arrangement in some form or another, as it is beautiful!
