Agreed. The Pod, for me anyway, has always been my favorite. And not just because it is so brown and crazy. When they play many of those songs in a more traditional way live - often using acoustic guitars -- they are beatiful. Demon Sweat, Laura, Sorry Charlie, Alone, Falling in Love, Pork Roll, She Fucks Me - are all totally different, and amazing in their own right, when performed live without all the brownness of the Pod record.

This was in early 2010, just a little less than a year before Gener's infamous meltdown in Vancouver which eventually led to the bands small timed demise. It makes sense if him and maybe the rest of the band looked a little off.
