Never been a huge Picasso fan, but even I can see how extraordinary this painting is .

I saw the Weeping Woman at Moma and it became one of my favorite paintings, (I bought a print and it hung in my classroom for 15 years.) Guernica was also at Moma, maybe at a different time. Anyway, thank you. I didn't know the background of the Weeping Woman. I appreciate knowing.

The one on her right eye has his/her left arm raised over its head and the one on the left eye has its right arm raised.

And, the black box like head, whose head is it supposed to be?

There are it seems to me three small persons on her face, two on her right eye and the third one on her left eye in a sitting position. That is what I am seeing especially when I put it above my head and it seems to be more pronounced especially when looked at with magnifying glasses . It may be far out for some. This is just an opinion of a non artist.
