Vermeer’s paintings are soooooo realistic. Almost photographic. The level of detail is so captivating. 👍

It’s shocking that these experts declare paintings that look nothing like any other Vermeer to be authentic Vermeers - based on paint analyses. LOTS of people were painting in Holland in the 1600s. These guys are thinking with their brains and not their eyes and the eye is what art is all about.

44:52 It hurts my eyes to see a masterpiece wrapped in cardboard! Fascinating way of storytelling, though! I hope that one day I’ll be able to create even one percent of the community you’ve managed to build! I’ve published my first video :)

If the work of masters is of such a high grade then how it is possible to make a fake out of it. Would not someone just look at it and say naa.

TRUTH is the only way Van Migran fooled anybody was by figuring out how to make Vermeer blue. Otherwise they would have never accepted his paintings as Vermeers.

De tranen staan in m'n ogen. 100. Ik "hoop" (volgens Nederlands gebruik een uitgestelde teleurstelling), dat de "wereld" dat begrijpt.

Typical to blame your faulty assessment to others who were at fault

Cheap trick that these guys try to capitalize on a famous movie title. Cheapens the video and degrades the value of the information. Spielberg ought to sue them.
