+Ethan S It actually isn't. We sell around 10k units in the UK each year and though riding style is the one negative I do hear, it is less than 10 comments a year. I could imagine riding very long distances would be uncomfortable, but when you ride with your child it is normally a few miles in my experience. Best Mat

The deluxe version tends to be bought for smaller kids as plusher padding ie under 18 months. When they are over the that age they normally have their own padding!
