I've read a lot of hate for this album but honestly, this album was pretty darn good. Not every musical experience has to give you a revealing experience and change the landscape of music. It's nice to have an album of great songs albeit cover versions of those songs. Some people expect too much and when they don't get it, they don't want to show any appreciation for fine musical talent.

Most profound Jackson rock cover since Smooth Criminal by AAF. Got worried at first, but then the pre-chorus and chorus kicked in and they nailed it! Good job guys. An extremely tough song to nail, sing, perform due to so much perfection on the original track.

I didn't understand this album at first. But then I "got it". It's a cover album all about good songwriting in mainstream popular music. It's Weezer saying: "These folks did it in the 80's and 90's, and we respected them for it. Here's our tribute to them. We're still trying to do the same, why aren't the rest of you?" Brilliant idea for an album, in my opinion.
