the fantastic thing about this band is every song is potentially someones favorite. They have so so so so many fun and catchy songs and some incredibly beautiful ones too. Weezer is talented on some ridiculous level that probably inspires and frustrates a lot of other bands that will never put out a quarter of the production of this band

I just discovered this album. Weezer are so prolific that I often miss an album or two. At first I didn't quite understand what they were doing with this, because it's not their usual style. But then I realized, on the second listen: this is Weezer doing a "studio" album like the Beatles did, complete with an orchestra. It's not as good as anything the Beatles did (not many things are), but this song is the best on the album. The others are growing on me, too, but this song is gorgeous. It helps that I was listening to it in my car just as it started raining!
