Scott Shriner is not Matt Sharp. They're not the same bassists, so they won't sound exactly the same- Scott's playing how he wants to, and they still have a good sound! Here's Matt Sharp's words on Scott Shriner: “Scott’s been in the band many years longer than I was at this point,” Sharp says. “It’s been a minute. And I would want him to have his space and enjoy that.”
