fuck...I love rivers strangely exaggerated confidence during the red album era, I think it's because of the mustache. It can do that to people. Now he is without a satche, and he is back to his normal self. the power of the mustache temporarily altered him.

Genuinely the best live petformance of a song ever. The high five at the end with the confused woman is the best. Couldn't have cared less about this award show but I'd just walked in my house after getting off a plane and turned on the TV just in time to see this.

This song is risk taking at it's finest, an homage perhaps, but a classic in it's own right. It might not go down as one of the "greatest" Weezer songs but it certainly presents a good argument for why Weezer will go down as the greatest and longest lasting bands of this generation.

Have loved this song. The song and rhetorical spirituality of the song (the variations on the shaker hymn) take on a new perspective after being able to see a video of his biological father performing a Christian sermon. It almost appears he feigns his father's mannerisms in the performance.
