I had friend who had sent me the link to this song some years ago. We used to be depressed and chill to this. Then she lost a lot of weight, started dating and grew distant from me. I don't resent her at all and I feel happy that her self esteem improved and I like to come back to this song and envision that she's living happily, somewhere out there on an island in the sun.

The wedding feels so authentic, I have to remind myself that they're all paid actors, and it wasn't a real wedding. This is my first time seeing the music video, though I must have heard the song first decades ago.
