WEGA Polaris Commercial Espresso Machine - Review

In this coffee machine review we are looking at a WEGA Polaris two group high cup espresso machine. We find that the WEGA Espresso machine is a good, cost effective unit suitable for many cafes. It's simple to use, easy for baristas to clean and maintain as well as being easy to service.

Hey joel, work is gonna get the high group head Polaris but with espresso's in their small 80ml cups i find that the group head is pretty high. I usually use an inverted cappuccino cup or a shot glass to pull my espresso shots without it splattering everywhere. Do you have any recommendations on espresso cup risers/platforms that'll raise my cups higher and closer to the group handle? Or just use what I currently have?

Just wondering what the switch on right hand side is for and the the two toggle switches up under the hood so to speak. Just purchased a yellow WEGA and love it still learning the machine. Does any one have any suggestions on beans to use with this machine to get good crema Thanks everyone

What is the button switch on the right side of the steamer? Does it have to be on/off ?

It could be a blank switch to fill in the gaps where lights were not installed. Or I can be the manual brew switch, push it and see. The manual brew switch works when the rain has died, a great backup

How do we program a 3 group wega polaris that gives a certain yield.

Press and hold the the program/buttons on both the keypads, they will light up. Then program the buttoned on the left side for the measure you need. This will copy automatically to the right hand side. 👍🏻

Had one of these for the past four years. Don’t rate it tbh Should have gotten another Pegaso Superior reliability and far cheaper servicing costs to boot

hello joel,do you also familiar of mode WEGA IO EVD/2? My coffee shop has quite limited space. that's why I'm considering to buy IO EVD/2. Does Wega IO EVD/2 has a similar function like WEGA Polaris ?

The io is similar, how ever a very small motor in it. At high volume it can cut out. If it has the led auto touch keypads stay away. If it’s fitted with the new black buttons then it is great

How to adjust temperature steamer

You can’t in this model as it only has one boiler, it will still get to the same temperature to produce steam. But just less of it
