Love to hear you guys talking about an anime I don't enjoy as much, sharing information from real boxing I'd never have the time for.. makes me appreciate it more, and that's why I like other's opinions. I still think Joe as the main is a tad dull in general, and a more compressed anime (less episodes or runtime) would have been better for me.

Joe's still got that 'Sports Anime Protagonist' vibe, but for what it's worth they take him in an interesting direction in the second season.
