Additional info, there are other difference that you forgot to mention here: The back croc leg doesn't fold inside the robot leg on the original. There's a cover flap on the arm, while the original left it as visible open gap. The pink area on the crotch, they are hollow on the original.

There was no running change in the color of Skullcruncher. The reason why wei Jiang changed the color was because there's no other black anywhere on the figure and they had to use a color that was on the body. Hasbro molds the heads and body separately whereas wei Jiang does them all as one set.

To fix your claw problem, put them in almost boiling water, take out after about 10 seconds, bend to desired position. Then place in freezer for about 5 minutes. Let it get back to room temperature before putting back on toy.

Maybe you can heat the up the claws a little bit and bend them in some.

For those claws,you could try heating them slightly,ethier in boiling water for about 30 or 40 seconds,then squeeze the clip part in till it starts to cool,or use a hair dryer or heat gun to do the same,but be carful with the heat gun you can melt the plastic,then once slightly cool I stick it the freezer to set,then let cook back to room temperature,before putting back on the figure

I think a hair dryer is the best method since the claws are pretty small and the hair dryer doesn't get as hot

@baltmatrix, The Skullcruncher figure from Generation 1 had also a black head. Als the Titans Return version of it had also a black head.

I'd say take some mild sand paper to that peg hole, but then again how do you sand a hole?

Couldn't you use boiled water to soften the claws and bend them ever so slightly? Should make them tighter.

One of the folding crock legs snapped at the joint on mine which means I can’t fix it as it’s plastic wrapped around a tiny metal pin. I’m VERY careful with my figures too... Just keep that in mind.

Fortunately, I have no issues with crocodile head on mine (though it's missing that black piece on forehead :(). Unfortunately, I have the same issue with claws on front paws. Sadly, the hole on the bottom of crocodile head is too large for anything to fit in, even the oversized peg on tail part (said peg doesn't fit anywhere - it's too large for hands...) Nevertheless, this one seems to have more improvements then the rest. Aside from cover (and rear crocodile legs which fold into robot legs) there are obviously covers on forearms and that stupid hole at the belt is filled, yay.

I love how Wei Jiang is just upscaling and improving pretty much everything. If only they would make their version of that Megatron figure with the ten modes. Imagine that guy a foot tall with all diecast and ratchet joints! YOU HEAR ME WEI JIANG?!
