Good on you and your dad for keeping it going and giving it some TLC. Those old pieces of machinery and very cool in my opinion

My brother used a 430-C to dig my spring fed pond in 1981. Now it's 14 acres and still growing. You just outclassed everyone else's tool barn by a mile.

That was awesome to see how you refurbished that piece of the dozer !! I hope you and your family are doing well Kyle . I'm the same with learning new things . I have learned alot from KZbin videos. It helps that I'm a visual learner. From sharpening axes to doing leather work to making some repairs on my ole mustang . Thank you for posting this video Kyle . Take care and stay safe my friend!

@@kyle_noseworthy it's just a 98 . I wish it was a 65 . I've had 3 mustangs . A 84 1/2 Shelby, a 98 GT , and I have a 2007 Roush Roadster too . I still have the 98 GT and The 2007 Roush Roadster ! They only made 100 of the Roadsters . I have one of 3 in my package. Pretty cool

Interesting repair. To make your pivot pins last longer I suggest not leaving any threaded portion in the joint. I never throw an old bolt away. I do prefer grade five. But grade 2 in a pinch will work. Putting threads in the shear plane makes me cringe. Although not the way US manufacturers made things such as cars and tractors I keep a good selection of grade 5 UNF fasteners on hand. Airplanes and old Land Rovers use fine threaded fasteners. I don’t have the issues of wallowed out holes on my Land Rovers that I do on my D4-5T or the old Fords I have worked on.

2AHD Cat don’t feel bad I suggested to Kyle that he should put that glue on fake fur the was so popular in the late 70’s, that everybody used when they were doing custom vans for his van. He didn’t seem very keen on that either lol

That be a great video restore the old tractor I say it after pushing some snow in its day do it burn much gas
@kyle_noseworthy2 жыл бұрын
It burns very little gas. Haha Super economical, which sounds odd for a dozer, but it's true. She has pushed quite a bit of snow, and gravel!
