Umar may have kinda missed the question on benefits of Ramadan because of the language barrier. But I definitely believe not only Ramadan leads to a cleanse but I think training like Team Eagle's fighter during Ramadan must only build more endurance than someone who may not part take in intermittent fasting including break from water and decipline on water intake (which is crucial during weight cutting)

because umar is a nurmagomedov, they're related and islam isn't (i think) he's just a friend. so obviously umar, or even abu baker got somewhat of a similar character to khabib, islam is different he's a more calm person and that's also a good quality for a fighter or even a person.

‏Josh, I loved you hosting Omar on the podcast. I have a point of view that I want your opinion on. Advice for fighters in general. If you went through a training camp but did not find an opponent for you, two or three days after the end of the show in which you wanted to fight on, the fighter should go and do interviews. With a group of programs and podcasts, you did not find an opponent to fight, but you made a media tour, people watched you, you promoted yourself, and the camp was not in vain.🇸🇦🤔??!

What Josh seems to forget is that when Jon won the belt and his first few years of defending, light heavyweight WAS the main weight class. It had the most talent and look how many times the belt changed hands before Jon got it. It went from Chuck to Rampage, to Forrest, to Rashad, Lyoto, and then Shogun. None of those guys besides Chuck had more than 1 title defense without losing it.
@MrWarxhe
@MrWarxhe Жыл бұрын
They were all way smaller than Jon though. Even Rogan mentioned in the Shogun fight that Jon looks a weight class above Shogun. Plus he was juiced to the tits. Yeah there will always be an asterisk next to Jon Jones. That’s just the truth of it.

I def thought Josh was a hater last episode. But I appreciate him better explaining himself. I still disagree, Jon has fought MULTIPLE HOF’s. Even in the lighter weightclass’, khabib and GSP have less wins vs HOF fighters. So that PLUS the 2 division championships should without a doubt CEMENT Jon as goat. Assuming ur not factoring in his PED’s and out of cage BS into the decision. Jon is 🐐, GSP is #2. Pretty cut and Dry imo

Umar is humble but regarding Ramadan: (1) there is cleansing but (2) lack of water means salt imbalances (3) biggest change that is harder to deal with is schedule. Fajr is 3-4am and have to eat before, but if breaking fast 8pm you dont feel hungry plus with prayers sleep schedule is tough

Did anyone noticed how all of the top 15 bantamweight immediately signed contract to fight each other one week after umar nurmagomedov destroyed his last opponent and called all of them out to stop running from him? It seems like They are really scared!!! -Like yan vs merab even tho they were pretty vocal for a long time they didn't want to fight each other because they had no respect for one a nother. That was one of the reasons if not the First reason yan decided to fight unranked O'Malley even tho merab was the only guy in top 5 who was available and had no fights. -Jack shore signed a fight yesterday against a unranked nobady. -Pedro munhoz accepte a fight with chris Gutierrez who is even ranked 12 which is lower than umar. -Ricky semon took the yadong song fight 3 days ago -Rob font took the n13 ranked Adrian yenez fight And all those fights got signed Coincidentally 1 week and a few days after umar killed his last opponent and called out the whole devision. The only people available now are. Cruz n7 Said n14

thats not fair to say cause look at the longest title defenses in LHW not including Jon.. very little and look at the most in heavyweight history too. what is it like 4? if those heavier weight classes was so much easier to become champ and stay champ Cain would have like 10 title defenses but even as great as Cain and even Stipe or Chuck or Shogun were they weren’t able to stay champ very long. lower weight classes might have more talent but just implying its easier just isn’t true and not even the fighters fault. and i don’t think i need to mention since Jon vacated the belt there has been like 4 or 5 different world champs compared to the like 10+ years he held the belt.

as the owner of a Landscaping company even I think UFC Tickets to live events are just way to expensive. If I could afford to go to the Chandler v McGregor fight at Dallas cowboys stadium I would go. But I can't, So I personally love when the UFC has event at the Apex. It just makes the fights 100X better for the poor people that are watching the fights back home. It also makes scoring the fights so much easier since you can hear every punch and kick that landed.
