If I do weight test when they are empty I'm going to sink when they are full right

Are you over filling the cylinders ?

You lost me a bit @2:09... after successful buoyancy check at surface with 50BAR, you descend and say "then I just add whatever lead weights are needed". Why would you add any weight? When correctly weighted, you can add relief to your suit at depth without skyrocketing to the surface IMHO.

3800psi in a Lp steel ???? 🤔 explain pliz? It suppose to be 2600psi

From my understanding 3500+psi is what they call a "cave fill" something that happens over there from what I have seen. It is more risky and wil shorten the life of your scuba cylinder I believe.

I just found this forum on the subject, take a look and see what is going on. I was as suprised as you that this is happening. I do not agree with it and advise divers to get normal fills and if they need more air then take a aliminium 80 stage cylinder www.scubaboard.com/community/threads/cave-fills.521484/

@@icediveradventures7158 If you are inspector ( I am assuming PSI or something like that not really testing facility technician ) you should know LP steel tanks are hydro tested to 4400 PSI and they have to expand and stretch as required by the specs, so filling to 3800 PSI is nothing and the life cycle is not shortened. I have seen 30 years old LP tanks passing hydro test after years of overfilling with no problems. NASA did test some of the old LP 104's with welded valves and no burst discs and the tanks will rupture around 9000 PSI so your comment is incorrect and just don't believe everything that PADI tells you.

I’ve got a set of LP121’s that are 25 years plus old that have had cave fills all their life. They just passed hydro 2 years ago. You do,you, I’ll keep my cave fills.
